IMPORTANT MEETING INFORMATION
Normally our meetings are held on the 3rd Saturday of each month. Once again due to Covid-19 and the restrictions set in place by the Minnesota Governor, we are unable to meet as normal. The V.F.W. we meet at has said that with the Governors edicts on restaurants, they can not meet the mandatory requirements. They are hopeful the executive orders will no longer be needed and they can return to business. If you are interested in becoming a member, please feel free to contact us via e-mail and we will try to provide you with as much information as possible.
Our next meeting is scheduled for
August 15, 2020 at 09:30.
If you would like to meet with some of our members and go on a ride, we have one coming up in July. Please e-mail us and we will make sure the group is aware of your attending. They will welcome you with smiles and encourage you to ask questions during the ride. Again, please contact us by e-mail so we can provide you with all the details.
Our meetings are held at the White Bear Lake V.F.W. It is located at 4496 Lake Ave. So., White Bear Lake, MN.
The staff at the V.F.W. look forward to hosting our meetings. Breakfast is available to order so you can enjoy it during the meeting. When we recite the Pledge of Allegiance, the VFW staff and some customers join in with us.
Arrive early (09:00) if you want to order breakfast before the meeting starts.

If you get lost, with these directions, have the woman in your life tell you how to get there. It will sound a lot like the deputies’ directions.
For those of you who are/were deputies here are the directions.
Go past the Old Miller Place. Not the Miller Place with the rectangular barn, the Miller Place with the round barn.
Take a left at where Bill Johnsons combine broke down a while back. Take a right just before the creek and turn at the Red Oak tree sitting next to the driveway on the east side. If you get lost pretend you were out getting Miller and Johnsons cows off the road and back in their pens. (This is also known as Over the River and through the woods!)
For those of you who are/were troopers here are the directions.
N/B, E/B, U-turn through the ditch, W/B, top of ramp left turn from right lane, drive around in circles until you see where all the deputies and city cops parked. Pretend you were delayed because you were 10-6 with a 10-12 who was a 10-56 and you were the only one available to handle it.
For those who were military here are your directions.
N 45º 04.630’
W 093º 01.006’
For those who are/were Federales.
Fill out paperwork in triplicate authorizing you to leave your home. Attend a meeting defending your reason for the request to attend the meeting. Submit said paperwork to Headquarters for approval. Wait 6 - 8 weeks for all lawyers to approve your transportation. Provide authorization approval to your spouse and confirm you can use your car. Stay home since the meeting was 4 - 6 weeks ago. Ok, so I don’t know a lot about the federal bureaucracy procedures, but if anyone wants to clarify the information let me know.
Have you thought about joining the Blue Knights, but wasn't sure you would be a good fit? Come to a breakfast meeting. It's just like breaking bread on a shift with your partners only we have more characters.
While at a breakfast meeting, you don't have to worry about maintaining shift minimums. The entire shift is out. You can drink coffee, order breakfast or make fun of those of us who do.
Afterwards a short meeting and then depending on schedules there may be a ride or you can head to your 10-20 and get a nap before the start of dogwatch.
If you have any questions, send us an e-mail.
