UNOFFICIAL MASCOTS / EMBLEMS

US and THEM - Their is a story involving 2 different chapters about the origin of the patches proudly worn by members of a couple of chapters.

I am waiting for clarification of the story to ensure I am repeating it correctly.  If you know the story please send it to us at MN4@blueknights.org

NYPD ESU UN OFFICIAL MASCOT - MOLLY NYPD ESU UN OFFICIAL MASCOT - MOLLY

The NYPD ESU cow, commemorates one of the unit's most publiced cases.  On May 6, 2009, a cow escaped from a Queens slaughterhouse and led ESU members on a mile long chase.  As a result of her ability to escape she was named an unoffical mascot of ESU.

NOW FOR THE REST OF THE STORY!

She was turned over to animal control and eventually transported to a sanctuary called The Farrm, in Calverton, NY.  The Farm has a 15-year history of taking in a variety of species of rescued animals.
